This is for the attention of the Oyo State government. It is on the newly rehabilitated Ibadan-Iseyin road. Kudos to the Oyo State governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, who made the rehabilitation of the Ibadan to Iseyin road to become a reality within two years at the helm.
I hereby draw the attention of the contractor to the deathtraps about a kilometer to Iseyin, the sharp bend (Muslim Cemetery junction) just before you enter the city.
I can confirm about two occasions or scenarios where motorists have had fatal accidents at the said junction due to overspeeding by some reckless drivers.
I would like to suggest the installation of speed breakers at some meters before the bend and also a control signpost.
Akanni Oke Matthew,
Saki, Oyo State.
