The Rotary Club of Ibadan Gold recently paid tribute to renowned fashion designer and entrepreneur, Olusola Onoja, founder of DMC Fashion Academy. This recognition celebrates her outstanding contributions to the fashion industry and her tireless efforts in empowering underprivileged individuals through fashion education and entrepreneurship.

With over 18 years of experience, Onoja has established herself as a leader in fashion, known for her innovative designs and commitment to nurturing the next generation of fashion entrepreneurs. Through DMC Fashion Academy, she has provided free fashion training, promoted diversity in fashion education, and made fashion accessible to people from all backgrounds.

In her acceptance address, Onoja emphasized the importance of leadership, empowerment, sustainability, and innovation in the fashion industry. She highlighted her vision for creating an ecosystem that connects designers, entrepreneurs, and manufacturers, and her passion for using fashion as a tool for social impact.

Onoja’s dedication to empowering young people, especially those from underserved communities, is evident in her work. She believes that vocational training is a key tool for economic independence and is committed to leaving a legacy of empowerment and creating a positive impact through fashion education and entrepreneurship.

As she looks to the future, Onoja aspires to scale her fashion enterprise into a global brand, expand her manufacturing capacity, and continue impacting lives through fashion education and entrepreneurship. Her recognition by the Rotary Club of Ibadan Gold is a testament to her hard work and dedication to using fashion as a force for good.
