The General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Worldwide, Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, has dedicated a one-storey chapel built by the MFM Tent Makers Pastoral Ministry in Lagos Region 15, Victoria Island, for the students of King’s College, Lagos.

During the well-attended ceremony, held last Thursday, Olukoya emphasised that God does not require you to know influential people in order to help you or elevate you to the next level. “He uses the unexpected things of this world to help whomever He chooses,” the man of God stated.

“God does not need VIPs to promote you; He can use someone you don’t even know, someone who may seem insignificant, to help you move forward,” he asserted.

He urged the staff and students present to pray, “O God, raise a voice for me where I have no voice,” highlighting that God can use humble servants to propel one’s success.

Olukoya then shared a personal experience when he submitted an application for the Commonwealth scholarship to study abroad two months after the deadline.

Upon arriving at the office to submit his application, the staff laughed at him and turned him away. Dejected, he stood at the entrance of the building when a young man carrying food plates approached him and inquired about his situation.

After explaining his mission, Olukoya mentioned that he graduated with fiest class. The young man then promised to assist him and returned to guide Olukoya to his boss, who was responsible for the selection of Commonwealth scholarship beneficiaries.

This led to Olukoya receiving the scholarship for his doctorate in the United Kingdom. “God raised a voice for me where I had no voice,” he emphasized, encouraging the audience to pray for similar assistance.

Olukoya urged students to excel in whatever they do, so that others could recommend them, even without their knowledge. According to him, there are three pillars of success: To achieve greatness in any subject, you must master that subject. Once you master it, you will excel; if you perform well at something, people will seek you out, even from far away; everyone created by God is a solution to a problem, and wherever you are, people will come looking for you.

The event was attended by senior pastors from the MFM Tent Makers Pastoral Ministries, led by Pastor Clement Imoru. The principal, vice principal, and senior teachers of King’s College were also present, expressing their gratitude for the generous gesture from MFM Ministries.

It’s worth noting that the ministry has made similar contributions to the University of Lagos Staff School, Methodist Boys High School, and Queen’s College, with plans for more initiatives in the future as part of their corporate social responsibility, as reported by the MFM News Digest magazine.
