George Obiozor

The scheduled election into the leadership of the Ohanaeze Youth and Women wings held as scheduled variously on Thursday August 5 and Friday August 6, 2021 respectively at the Ohanaeze Secretariat, Enugu State.

These occurred against a simmering rumour to the effect that elections might not hold as slated, with Ohanaeze national body quickly coming up with a disclaimer to dispel such.

In a congratulatory message issued by the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Professor George Obiozor, the apex Igbo group stated that “as very important arms of the apex Igbo organization, their elections are timely and will add impetus to the efforts and serious contributions towards providing solutions to the various critical problems facing the nation in general and Igboland in particular.”

Ambassador Obiozor urged the newly elected officers to imbibe the fear of God in the discharge of their  duties.

Lauding the peaceful and orderly conduct of the elections, Hon Chibueze Okeke; Onataradikanma of Nkpor, said that he came not only to observe the election but as a committed stakeholder in Ohanaeze, whose wife,Barr Ifeyinwa, was vying for the post of the Assistant National Legal Adviser, whom he hoped with the”support of Anambra people including Nkpor people would emerge victoriously.”
