The Federal government stated on Tuesday in Abuja that Nigeria has no Boeing 737 Max registered in the country for operation.
In a statement made available by the Press Secretary to the Minister of State for Aviation, Hadi Sirika, James Odaudu noted that the nation does not currently have any Boeing 737 Max on its register.
According to the Sirika, “aviation is one world over, and any accident anywhere is a tragedy to the global aviation industry”.
He said Nigeria identifies and commiserates with the Ethiopian aviation authorities those who have lost loved ones, including two distinguished Nigerians, in their moment of grief.
