A cleric, Revivalist Benny Alabi, has advocated spiritual reawakening among Nigerians for the country to regain its lost glory.
Speaking with newsmen in Abuja, ahead of a national conference organised by the Pentecost Ministries International Trust, he stated that most of the challenges facing the country were due to lack of spiritual awakening.
According to him, “The problem is not limited to the leaders alone or confined to a segment, section or sector of the Nigerian society. It is in view of this that Pentecost Ministries International Trust is organising a conference in Abuja to seek divine intervention.
“The conference is tagged The National Proclamation and The Nations Pray, Nigeria 2017, and it is a revolutionary mandate received from the Lord to reawaken the revival in our nation and across the world.
“Every true move of God reveals and restores the fear of God, integrity and purity in the church, Godly leadership, a return to evangelism, and a national spiritual awakening, which will happen in all nations.
“Let the truth be revealed that Jesus is coming back and everyday draws us closer to His return. How prepared are we? Hence, a new chapter is open to mankind through the knowledge of Holy Scriptures and revival of letters,” he stated.
The conference, which will hold from June 29 t0 July 2, 2017, at the National Centre for Women Development, will also have in attendance, Apostle Charles Samnenge from Swaziland; Reverend Professor Paul Emeka; Apostle Victor Uchegbulam; Apostl e Gerald Glasper from the United States, and Apostle Goodheart Ekewueme.
