Niger State House of Assembly member representing Agbara Constituency, Alhaji Nura Mohammed Garba, has constructed a N50 million iron bridge along the Adahe-Mago road to alleviate the suffering of his constituents.

The bridge was built to ease the transportation of goods and services in the area, which has been in dire need of it for many years.

“I decided to construct the bridge along that road with a view to ease the transportation of goods and services in the area by the people of the local Government,” Garba said in an interview with the Nigerian Tribune.

“The people of the area have been suffering due to lack of a bridge, especially during the rainy season,” he added.

The lawmaker emphasised his commitment to providing developmental projects that directly impact his constituents.

He has also embarked on other projects, including the construction of a residential house for the Village Head of Busuru at the cost of N12 million, lock-up shops in Gallah Ward at the cost of N13 million, and a Jum’aat central mosque at Dankade village at the cost of N25 million.

“The measure was to improve the revenue base of the local Government Council,” Garba explained. He assured his constituents that he will continue to provide more dividends of democracy, soliciting their support and cooperation to enable him and the state administration, led by Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, to achieve the New Niger Agenda.

“I will continue to provide more dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of my people in the constituency.

“I solicit the support and cooperation of the people to enable me, in conjunction with the present administration, to succeed in its quest to achieve its New Niger Agenda,” Garba said.
