TWO major brands in the entertainment and non-alcoholic market segments have assured Nigerian families, of a bigger and more fun-filled Nickfest, an annual family festival, slated for September, this year.
Viacom International Media Networks Africa (VIMN Africa) provider of premium 360-degree entertainment, says it is continuing its partnership with Maltina, following the huge success the festival recorded in 2017.
Described as unique and family-friendly, for various age groups, this year’s event, according to the organising brands, will feature Nickelodeon’s superstar characters in brand new shows.
Executive Vice President and Managing Director for VIMN Africa and BET International, Mr. Alex Okosi expressed the organisation’s delight at bringing the festival back to Nigeria, with active collaboration of Maltina.
“NickFest delivers an amazing experience for families to enjoy the best of Nickelodeon. We are thrilled to bring the festival back to Nigeria in partnership with Maltina for a second consecutive year.”
The Portfolio Manager, Non-Alcoholic Drinks for Nigerian Breweries Plc, Ngozi Nkwoji described the event as exciting for the Maltina brand; since the essence of the non-alcoholic drink is to nourish family moments.

This year NickFest, according to the organisers, will welcome more than 4,000 children into an arena
that would be transformed into a bright orange Nickelodeon and Maltina wonderland, with two shows held both days of the event.
