A non-governmental organization (NGO), Kunle Ayoola Foundation (KAF), has provided loan facility worth N20 million as an empowerment for traders to upgrade their businesses.
The organisation, which focuses on easing the burden of widows, orphans and youths, also granted scholarship to some prospective undergraduates.
Founder of the foundation, Kunle Ayoola disclosed this in Ile-Ife, Osun State, during the free medical outreach and distribution of food items he organised for residents of the community.
Explaining reason behind the gesture, Ayoola said it was his own way of reaching out to the needy and addressing economic challenges bedeviling Nigerians.
While calling on well-to-do Nigerians to assist the vulnerable with what God has endowed them, Ayoola disclosed that the foundation organised various programmes to address the immediate needs of the people.
He said: “Kunle Ayoola Foundation is a non-profit organisation that focuses on how to ameliorate the sufferings of widows, orphans and youths. The foundation was founded on August 27, 2020 with the passion of empowering the people.
“The four-day event started on June 26 at KAF secretariat in Ile-Ife with a walk to live body fitness exercise and there was free medical to the people. We also distributed food items to indigent members of the community.
