Francine Gillian Garcia is a woman of many talents. She is the proud owner of JU Poppin. She is also a Hairstylist Educator, Content creator, Philanthropist and serial entrepreneur. She is known for her wide array of talents and her ability to put them to good use.
Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Francine studied at the Vessigny government Secondary school. After taking her GED, she attended Brooklyn College and continued studying in educational classes. When she found her potential and passion in Hairstyling, she started attending Hairann’s hair school in San Fernando, Trinidad for her hair education. Before opening JU Poppin, she joined several renowned agencies like Matrix, Patric Bradley, Loreal and Najah. She also attended mastermind classes with Natalie Wedwell, Marissa’s peer and Grant Cardone after completing her education.
Francine is a believer in the Almighty god. She is a very spiritual and kind person. She is also a very generous woman who believes it is important to give back to the community she belongs to. Being a philanthropist herself, she always likes to put others feeling before her own feelings. Her love for her family is quite visible to others just by the love and protection she provides for her kids and grandkids. She believes God has plans for each and everyone and the Almighty God, himself will guide and show the path to everyone just like how he showed the path to Francine to become a hairstylist, so everyone should be patient and trust in the process. On asking her favourites she said she is a simple person who loves restaurants with grilled salmon on their menu and she also loves action movies and criminal tv shows with a glass of roscata or a cup of ginger tea.
According to her, her talent in hair styling is God gifted. she has never thought of being a hairstylist while growing up. Her reason behind styling women’s hair is to make them happy and make them feel special about themselves. she always focuses on how to make people’s hair healthier and love to style them. Francine even got featured in Essence and Oprah Magazine. She is regarded as one of the most talented hairstylist educators in the industry. She said when she came to this country in the year 1993, she only had $50 in her hand and a dream of becoming a hairstylist. Overcoming all the difficulties and grabbing all the opportunity she has established herself to be one of the renowned Hairstylist Educator, Content creator, Philanthropist and serial entrepreneur in the industry.
