THE Food, Beverage and Tobacco (FBT) sectoral group, an offshoot of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), has appointed Chief Patrick Anegbe as its new chairman.
According to a statement made available to the Nigerian Tribune on Wednesday, he now holds the new office alongside his position as the President, Association of Food, Beverages and Tobacco Employers as well as the Chairman, Blenders and Distillers Association of Nigeria, a sub-sectoral group of MAN.
Anegbe, is presently the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Intercontinental Distillers Limited, a renowned distillery company in the food and beverage industry.

The statement further noted that since he assumed the role of the MD/CEO of Intercontinental Distillers Limited, the company has witnessed a tremendous turnaround and has grown at the fastest pace both in turnover, profitability and brand portfolio than any other period since inception.
Anegbe, attended Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State, where he obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND), in Electrical Engineering, Power/Machines options. He also bagged a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, Lagos State.
He is also an alumnus of Lagos Business School, Pan African University; IESE Business School; Barcelona; Spain; Harvard Law School, USA; University of Chicago Booth School of Business, USA; IMD Business School, Brazil among others.
The new Food, Beverage and Tobacco chairman is a member of NAFDAC Governing Council and a Knight of Saint Mulumba (KSM).
