Vicar of Our Saviour’s Anglican Church, Venerable Samuel Enike, has charged Ambassador Dr Olatokunbo Awolowo Dosumu to move closer to her Creator and serve humanity more.
He gave the charge during a Holy Communion/Thanksgiving Service held at the Family Chapel, Obafemi Awolowo residence, Ikenne Remo, Ogun State to mark Awolowo Dosumu’s 72nd birthday.
Speaking on the theme ‘Celebrating the All-Embracing Favour of God’, the cleric asked the celebrant to keep doing good works at all times in the interest of the people.
He said, “God has shown you comprehensive favour. Keep on doing good at all times. If you have been enjoying His favour all this while, never repay evil with evil. Seek peace with all men. Live the rest of your life serving God. Dedicate more of your time and resources to your Maker.”
In her response, Dr Awolowo-Dosumu gave gratitude to God for seeing her thus far in the journey of life and promised to keep doing her best for Nigeria in particular and humanity in general.
She urged the gathering to keep believing in God in the face of challenges and struggles of life.
The brief service was attended by the Alakenne of Ikenne, Oba Adeyinka Onakade.
