According to him, since the take-off of academic activities in the institution in 2017\2018, there had been steady progressive steps toward achieving the vision of the university, which is “to become a world-class institution of excellence in the production of graduates who are able to respond to the socioeconomic needs of a knowledge-driven economy.”

the maiden convocation for the institution.

While affirming that the university has well-equipped laboratories for all its science programmes, Olatubosun said the Department of Mass Communication equally has adequately equipped studios for its programmes, adding that plans are also in progress to have a world-class studio for the Accounting programme.

He lauded the founder for bringing forth his great and lofty ideas to fruition in KDU-I, just as he announced that the founder would be installed as the first chancellor of the university at the grand finale of the convocation activities on Thursday, 4 November, 2021.
