Kebbi APC supporters pay solidarity visits to Gov Idris

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, on Sunday received a mammoth gathering of All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters from Birnin Kebbi, Kalgo and Bunza Local Government Areas who converged on the Government House, Birnin Kebbi, to demonstrate their solidarity and support for Hon. Muhammad Bello Yakubu Rilisco and other APC candidates from Kebbi Central.

Governor Idris, while addressing the supporters, expressed appreciation to Almighty Allah for the gathering and commended the people for demonstrating their continued confidence in the leadership of the APC.

He said the gathering was particularly significant as it brought together supporters of the party and its candidates from Kebbi Central, led by the APC candidate for the Birnin Kebbi/Kalgo/Bunza Federal Constituency, Hon. Muhammad Bello Yakubu Rilisco.

The governor said the large turnout of men, women, youths and elders was a clear indication of the strength of the APC in Kebbi State, dismissing claims by detractors that some of the party’s leaders and candidates lacked popular support.

“Anyone who claims Rilisco has no people behind him is simply lying. Anyone who claims Aliero has no people behind him is lying. Anyone who claims Kaura has no people behind him is also lying,” he declared.

Governor Idris reaffirmed his support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and urged the people to remain steadfast in their support for the APC, from the national level down to the state and legislative levels.

He said the achievements of the APC-led governments were visible to the people, stressing that the electorate would ultimately have the opportunity to make their judgment through the ballot.

He called on the supporters to continue supporting President Tinubu, Senator Muhammad Adamu Aliero, himself, Hon. Muhammad Bello Yakubu Rilisco and other APC candidates, while praying Almighty Allah to grant the leaders and supporters long life, good health and success.

Earlier in his remarks, Hon. Muhammad Bello Yakubu Rilisco, APC candidate for the Birnin Kebbi/Kalgo/Bunza Federal Constituency, thanked Governor Idris for receiving the supporters and for the support extended to the party’s candidates.

He assured the governor of the loyalty and commitment of the APC candidates and supporters, declaring that the party remained united “from top to bottom” and praying Almighty Allah to grant them victory.
