‘Juju’ scare rattles MOUAU community

Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State, has been unusually quiet following a discovery of sacrificial objects in front of the office of one of the institution’s staff members.

Report has it that a disgruntled student of the university allegedly left the ‘sacrifice’ pot by the lecturer’s door.

A source said that the suspected student also left a note promising to send some staff of the Biochemistry Department of the institution to their early grave for their lackadaisical approach to resolving the result issues of 400 level students.

Some names of staff of the department were also said to have been listed by the aggrieved student who also accused the Head of Department of not always being in the school to attend to issued affecting the students.

All efforts to confirm the incident from the school Public Relations Officer, Adanma Odefa, and to know what the university management staff is doing about the matter, was not successful, as she declined to knowledge the presence of the fetish object.

Odefa merely said that she would  find out what actually happened and get back to Tribune Online reporter on Monday, hinging argument that it was already weekend and as such, a sort of public holiday for workers.
