There was jubilation in Sagamu township, in Ogun State, on Wednesday, when the World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Anthony Joshua, arrived for a courtesy visit to the Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi in his Palace.
Joshua who identified with Sagamu town as his place of origin, though a British-Nigerian citizen, pledged to “stand up for Sagamu and Remo kingdom as a whole anytime you need me.”

The Akarigbo and paramount ruler of Remo Kingdom thereby congratulated Anthony for regaining his world championship belt as well as putting Remo and Nigeria back on the map.
