Oluwadamilare Ayelabola, the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Another Level Music Band said on Tuesday in Ibadan that females venturing into music must be cautious and discipline.
Ayelabola told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that any female interested in doing the business should be very disciplined and friendly to succeed.
“There’s much more in dealing with people than we see with the eyes. To excel on the job, one has to be more cautious,” he cautioned.
On whether male and female musicians enjoy equal acceptance by the society, he said the market was very favourable to the females too.
“Take for example Queen Ayo Balogun for the live band and Evangelist Tope Alabi for gospel music, they are doing absolutely fine.

“There’s really not much disparity, but you know people and their choices,” he said.
On support from older hands in the field, Ayelabola said ” Yes massive support comes from a selected few.
You know everyone can’t support you, but ultimately the support has been fair, ” he said.
He, however, urged anyone planning to venture into singing to leave all fears behind and face their dreams.
“The fear of attempting and then failing to make most people not to go after their dreams.
“Also the issue of finance can be a challenge in pursuing a dream but can be managed if well planned,” he said.
