A youth advocate and active APC member in Oyo State, Aribisala Femi Odunayo believe it is time for youths to govern the country.

Speaking on Saturday in Ibadan after visiting his ward Agbongbon, in Ibadan Southeast Ward 5, polling unit 1, Aribisala said it is high time youth take responsibility to govern and engage in politics of today.

He promised to be an active party member and optimistic that APC will rule the state come 2023.

“I so much believe in youth engagement in politics and it is high time we took responsibility. Youth are ripe for today’s politics and we all are ready to take the bold step.

“Not Too Young To Run is an act of parliament which sought to reduce the age limit for running for elective office in Nigeria. With nearly 70 percent of Nigeria’s population below the age of 35, it is therefore crucial that young people should be allowed to be represented in the country’s political systems.

“It has always been my wish to participate fully in politics but never got an opened ground, but today, I’m here with my people, I am ready to be a full party man, I’m ready to contribute my own effort toward winning elections for our party APC come 2023.
