I read somewhere that the Coronavirus pandemic can be spread through farts. Kindly help to clarify this.

It is true that scientists have confirmed the presence of the Coronavirus in the faeces of more than half of patients with COVID-19. In view of previous tests that have shown farts have the power to spray talcum powder long distances. However, farts are unlikely to transmit the virus provided pants are worn.
