The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Usman Baba Alikali, has approved the posting of DSP Bright Edafe as the new spokesperson of the Delta State Police Command with immediate effect.
Edafe, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), prior his current posting, was the acting image-maker of the command.
The new PPRO holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) from the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti and was, one-time, the Administrative Officer, Area Command, Asaba.
Edafe, who has been very dutiful, cooperative and easily accessible to journalists in the state in an acting capacity, had also served in Ekiti State Police Command.
The Delta Command, in a statement signed by ASP Edna Bassey, the 2IC PPRO, however, appealed to the general public and journalists in the state to accord DSP Edafe more maximum support.
The Command added that the new PPRO could be reached via GSM Nos. 08131070122 and 07014940853 or via email at Brightgoldenboy1@gmail.com.
