How to check 2023 WASCCE result

By: Emmanuel Akinwale

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) officially released WASSCE results on Monday, 7th August 2023.
Some students are, however, unaware of how they can access their results.

This article explains a step-by-step guide to checking your 2023 WASSCE result.

It is important to emphasise here that candidates can only check their results with their examination details and WAEC result checking scratch card, which has the PIN through which candidates can access their results.

The following examination details are required when you are ready to check your result and purchase and reveal your result checking scratch card pin: WAEC examination number, examination serial number, year, and type of examination.

You can receive your WAEC results through SMS or the WAEC result checker page.

To access your WAEC result via text message (SMS), send WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear to 32327. The text (SMS) costs N30 on MTN, Glo, and MTN mobile networks.

An alternative method is to log on to the WAEC result checker portal via: www.waecdirect.org with the ten (10) digits of your WAEC examination number, year, type, scratch card pin, and serial number.
