Controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable has revealed that he canceled a $6,000 show to meet with Davido, only for the meeting to be a waste of time.

In a recent interview with Echo Room, Portable shared the story of how he sacrificed a $6,000 performance opportunity in the United States after receiving a call from Davido, who requested that they meet up.

According to Portable, Davido had promised to feature him on a song, which made him prioritize the meeting over his planned performance.

This led him to cancel not just one, but two scheduled shows, the first worth $6,000, and the second in Davido’s presence.

“I was on my own in the United States when Davido called me, saying he wants us to link up. I canceled a $6,000 show to meet him,” Portable said.

I still canceled another show in his presence because he promised me a feature but he ended up wasting my time.

He added, “If you want to help me, help me and don’t stress me.”
