Gunmen early hours of Monday attacked Major General John Malu at his village in  Benue State.

Major General Malu is the younger brother of the former Chief of Staff Army staff, General Victor Malu.

Tribune Online learnt that the General was at home when the attackers stormed his residence where they shot sporadically at his house.
