The Iperu Mini Stadium Projects Committee has commended the Alaperu of Iperu, Oba Adeleke Adelekan Idowu-Basibo, over his commitment to the development of Iperuland.
The committee gave the commendation in a message signed by its chairman, Denny Oladipupo, to commiserate and empathise the monarch on the first anniversary of the death of his wife, Olori Kehinde
The committee appreciated and divine protection over the monarch and the entire household, following the untimely demise of the late Olori Kehinde.
“We understand how painful it is for anyone to lose a member of the family, especially, a wife.
“We, however, take solace in the fact that the God who giveth and taketh, has decided to take Olori Kehinde at the time of her passage, and we are also confident that she is indeed resting in the bosom of the Lord,” the message said.
The chairman concluded as he prayed for the repose of the soul of the late Olori Kehinde and equally prayed for the Alaperu and the children, and all those left behind.
In the same vein, the Iperu Indigenes Forum (IIF), in a message jointly signed by its convener, Prince Ladi Olabinjo; the Oluwo of Iperu, Chief Ifasola Saheed Opeodu; Otunba Adebayo Salami and IIF’s Media Officer, Tope Oyekan prayed that light perpetual shine on the departed.
