After a successful working visit at the UN Headquarters and fruitful engagements with key agencies of the intergovernmental organisation, Gombe state Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya is on a working visit to Atalanta, Georgia where he is attending the USA- Nigeria Business and Investment Summit, 2019.
The event, organised by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Consulate-General of Nigeria in Atlanta, Georgia, International Trade Exchange and Diplomatic Vista is aimed at promoting steady mutual economic growth and development of United States of America and Nigeria.

It also provides a platform for both private and public sectors from both countries to review policies, exchange ideas, network, conclude business ventures, and review bilateral economic relations.
During the opening session, Governor Yahaya made a presentation on available investment opportunities and incentives that will attract foreign direct investment into Gombe state.
He also participated in the panel discussion on investing in Nigeria, with a focus on Gombe State and its abundant resources as well as business opportunities.
The governor also held separate meeting with Mrs Nell Diallo, Vice President, Corporate and International Relations of MedShare, which is a humanitarian aid organisation dedicated to improving the quality of life of the people by sourcing and directly delivering surplus medical supplies and equipment to communities in need around the world as contained in a statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the Governor.
