Funke Adedoyin: APC will dislodge PDP in Kwara by-election

CHAIRMAN, All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara state, Hon Bashir Bolarinwa, has said that the party is confident of dislodging the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state ahead of next Saturday bye-election into the Ekiti/Oke-Ero/Isin/Irepodun Federal Constituency.

The seat became vacant after the death in September this year, of the constituency’s representative in the House of Representatives, Princess Funke Adedoyin.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the Campaign Committee for the Ekiti/Oke-Ero/Isin/Irepodun constituency in Ilorin at the weekend, Hon. Bolarinwa said that the expected victory during the by-election would signal the party’s success in the forthcoming 2019 general elections in the state.

“I want to also reiterate that this by-election is a must-win election for our party in the state because it is not just a litmus test, but a pre-send-forth party for present people in government.

“As our strategists for this election, I urge you to deploy every legitimate tact that can guarantee us victory. This is another sacrifice that calls for selfless service to the party and good people of our state.

“A peep into the 2015 election results in this federal constituency shows that factors that determined where votes could sway were internalized. Please look into those factors that can aid our victory and deal with those that can impede us.

“As you are aware, you are the forerunners in an all-important election like the one slated to hold on Saturday, November 17, 2018, coming ahead of the general elections in 2019.

“Let me congratulate you ahead of time because I am confident in God that by the time our success story will be told as it concerns the election, you will occupy a prime place”, he said.
