For Abdul Imoyo, it was a befitting final rite for a man loved by many. The Media Relations Head of Access Bank, who died in the early hours of December 17, 2023, at the First Cardiologist Hospital, Ikoyi, Lagos was committed to mother earth as scheduled on Thursday, January 18, 2024, after a service at the RCCG, Olive Tree Parish, Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The service of songs was held a day earlier at the Harbour Point Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos and it was an assemblage of the who-is-who in the banking, business, and media sectors who were all present to give Imoyo a last respect.
The late Imoyo combined his job at Access Bank with his role as the Secretary of the Association of Corporate and Marketing Communications Professionals in Banks In Nigeria.
His death came as a shock to friends and colleagues, who took solace in the hope that he would find rest in his Maker.
The deceased is described as a highly-regarded Corporate Media Manager and Journalist who leaves behind a legacy of excellence in the field of Corporate Communications.
