In its quest to enhance the operational efficiency of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) members, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) under the aegis of Arigbe Victor Foundation has donated furniture and television sets to the Edo State Chapter of the NYCN.
Donating the items on behalf of the Foundation, Mr Ikechukwu Mordi, said the donation was in fulfilment of the pledge made by the foundation during the inauguration of the council’s leadership.
Mordi, who is the state representative of the Foundation, said, “In celebration of your resounding election success and to honour our pledge made during the inauguration, it is with great pleasure that we present to you a set of office furnishing items.
“We hope that these items will enhance the council’s operational efficiency and provide a conducive environment for the team to effectively serve the youth of Edo State.
“These items not only symbolise our commitment to supporting the council’s noble cause but also serve as a tangible representation of our belief in your vision and your team’s ability to make a positive difference.
“We are aware of the immense responsibility that comes with leading such a prestigious organisation, and we want you to know that you have our unwavering support,” he said.
According to him, the Arigbe Victor Foundation is committed to working with the Edo State NYCN and its team, pooling our resources, knowledge, and experience to empower the youth of Edo State.
Responding, the state Chairman of the Youth Council, Comrade Moses Agwinede, thanked the members of the foundation for the kind gesture.
Agwinede said he was overwhelmed by the show of love and support, adding that the foundation had left an indelible mark in the hearts of the youths in the state.
