The Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation has distributed cook gas cylinders to hundreds of residents, who are mostly civil servants in Ekiti State.

The distribution which was done across six different locations had large number of residents benefitting from the gesture.

The founder of the foundation, Opeyemi Falegan said he was overwhelmed over the huge turnout of people for the gesture, saying he would continue to use his resources to add value to people’s lives and livelihood.

While lamenting the rising poverty level in the society, appealed to the people especially the civil servants to be dedicated to their duties towards contributing to the socio-economic development of the state.

The philanthropist who stated that his gesture has no political correlation, explained that he is passionate and committed to the welfare of the people, hence his various interventions and support in the last few years in the state.

He appealed to the government at all levels especially the state government under the leadership of Governor Biodun Oyebanji to prioritise the living conditions of the people in its policies, rather than focusing more on politics and political permutations.

Some of the beneficiaries who benefited from the initiative expressed gratitude and appreciation for Falegan’s kindness.

They described him as a trustworthy and reliable philanthropist who has made a significant impact in their lives.
