I have been engaging in a lot of exercises for the past few weeks in order to lose weight. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to work because my weight has remained almost the same. What can be the cause?

To lose weight through exercise, you must create a calorie deficit by burning more calories than you consume, which is achieved by increasing your physical activity.
A combination of cardiovascular exercise (like walking, jogging, or swimming) for at least 150 minutes per week and strength training (at least two days a week) to build muscle mass is highly effective for weight loss and maintenance.
Choosing enjoyable activities and consistently engaging in both types of exercise will lead to sustained. Although exercises such as running, walking and working out in the Gymnasium can lead to weight loss, the amount of calories lost through this route is negligible unless they are combined with reduction in food consumption.
Therefore, for you to have a substantial amount of weight reduction, you will need to also reduce the amount of the food which you consume in addition to the exercises.
