Former Police Affairs Minister, Alhaji Abdul Jelili Adesiyan has congratulated Debo Ogundoyin after he emerged Speaker of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly.
Ogundoyin, emerged the speaker under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) just as Adesiyan felicitated with him for being found worthy by his colleagues.

He said both Oyo State governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde and the new speaker are young which is good for the betterment of the state.
“The governor was young same with the new speaker, I want the two of them to work together for the betterment of Oyo State,” he said.
It will be recalled that Ogundoyin representing Ibarapa East Constituency won a by-election to fill the vacant position created by the death of former speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Michael Adeyemo.
