American rapper Saweetie recently opened up about her experiences with spiritual attacks and how it has influenced her relationship with gospel music.
In a candid interview with Big Boy TV, the 30-year-old artist revealed that she battles with “evil forces” in her dreams and feels compelled to listen to gospel music to ward off these attacks.
Saweetie shared that she grew up in an apartment with a history of paranormal activities, which may have contributed to her experiences.
She explained that she feels vulnerable to spiritual attacks when she sleeps without playing gospel music, and she experiences sleep paralysis if she fails to do so.
She described the sensation of sleep paralysis as feeling like someone is sitting on top of her, rendering her unable to move or speak.
Despite these challenges, Saweetie expressed that she has found spiritual strength through meditation and incorporating gospel music into her routine.
“I don’t know how I was set up to be this involved with the spiritual world.
“The apartment I grew up in had a lot of paranormal activities. If I am sleeping next to anyone, then I have to play gospel music; otherwise, I will get attacked by evil forces. It still happens till this day.
“I get sleep paralysis every time I don’t play gospel music.
“It’s like, I’m dreaming and someone is sitting on top of me. I can’t move or talk. I feel I became more spiritually strong when I started to meditate more,” she recounted.
