AS Muslims in Gombe State join other faithful worldwide to celebrate this year’s Eid-El-Maulud, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has sent his goodwill message, calling on the Ummah to imbibe the spirit of tolerance, humility, modesty and generosity as exemplified by the life and times of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( SAW).
The Governor also admonished both leaders and the led to use the occasion to draw lessons and inspiration from the virtues of service and exemplary leadership of the Holy Prophet, Muhammad and give their all for the overall peace, unity, development and prosperity of the society.

He emphasised the need for tolerance among the people, regardless of the differences, adding that it is only through such commitment that developmental challenges will better be confronted and addressed.
He thanked the people of Gombe State for their continued loyalty and support to his administration, urging them to continue to pray for the peace, well being and prosperity of the state and the nation as contained in a statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the Governor.
