THOUSANDS of Edo state branch of the All Progressives Congress (APC), supporters who thronged out to elect candidates for next year general election were disappointed yesterday as the party rescheduled its primary.

He said that with the measures put in place by the party, he is optimistic that the outcome of the to primaries will not be acrimonious like in other states where primaries have been held.
Ojezua said: “Consensus is only one option. We tried consensus and it didn’t work out. So we decided to try direct primary. With the mention put in place by the party, I am optimistic that we will have an acrimony-free primary. I am the chairman of all and do not support any aspirant. They are all my aspirants.”
