A driver, Joseph Ndoka and two technicians, Rasheed Omoniyi and Saheed Salisu were on Friday arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court over alleged stealing of goods valued at N2.1 million.
Ndoka, 31; Omoniyi, 49, a Mechanic; and Salisu, 36, an Electrician; are facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing.
The Prosecutor, ASP Ezekiel Ayorinde, said the defendants committed the offences on Jan. 5 at Ilupeju, Lagos.
He alleged that Ndoka, Omoniyi and Salisu stole 118 environ raw materials from an articulated vehicle belonging to Global Maritime Service Nigeria Ltd.

“The vehicle was loaded with the raw materials from Tin-Can Island, Apapa. It developed some faults at Oshodi and was stationed there.
“In the night, the accused broke into the vehicle and carted away the raw materials. They were arrested following intelligence reports,” he said.
Ayorinde said that offences contravened Sections 287 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Section 287 prescribes three years’ jail term for stealing while Section 411 attracts two years for conspiracy.
The defendants who pleaded not guilty to the charges were admitted to bail in the sum of N300,000 each with two sureties each in like sum.
The Magistrate, Mrs B.O Osunsanmi said the sureties must be gainfully employed and should show evidence of two years tax payment to the Lagos State Government.
The magistrate fixed a further hearing for March 1.
