Published by

Nigerian music star, Davido, who lost his trusted aide, Obama, on Wednesday is believed to be troubled about the latter’s demise and has told those close to him to allow him deal with the grieving moment the best way he could.

Davido, who jetted out of the country on Wednesday spent some hours in the studio with the late Obama and another artiste, Peruzzi, was shocked to hear that his right-hand man who is loved by many people in the music industry was no more.

Obama, who is the founder of Obama Music Worldwide (OBMW) was said to have died of heart failure after complaining of having difficulties breathing as he drove himself to the hospital, but did not make it back alive.

With top celebrities mourning Obama’s death, Davido it is believed, was yet to come to terms with the passing of Obama who was buried on Thursday according to Islamic rites.

The IF singer who has refused to make any public appearance or posted anything on his social media pages would be back in the country in the coming week and would make a public statement.

A source close to Davido told R on Friday that “Davido is devastated. He has not been able to get over the death of Obama. We just have to let him deal with the sad development the best way he could. I am sure he would make a statement very soon.”
