Davido, chioma stir emotions with heartfelt tribute to late son, Ifeanyi

Popular Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly called Davido, and his wife, Chioma, have melted hearts with a deeply emotional exchange on Instagram.

Chioma, who has largely stayed away from social media since the tragic loss of their son, Ifeanyi, in 2022, made a poignant return on Thursday.

Chioma shared a photo of her wedding bracelet engraved with Ifeanyi’s image, alongside a heartfelt message.

“My best friend walked into me forever, Ify, you’re on my mind every day and you live in my heart. Always and forever. Love, Mummy,” she wrote.

Davido, moved by her post, responded simply with: “Till Infinity.”

The couple’s exchange has drawn emotional reactions from fans and well-wishers, many of whom expressed love and support as they continue to heal.

Recall that Ifeanyi tragically passed away in October 2022 after a drowning incident at the singer’s Banana Island residence in Lagos a loss that has kept Chioma mostly off social media until now.
