The digital space came alive days back as media strategist and talent manager, Dami Adenuga, launched his much-anticipated live audio series, Pulse of the Culture, on X (formerly Twitter).
The debut episode, themed “Influence or Impact: What Really Matters?”, drew an impressive 60,000 listeners from across the globe, solidifying Dami’s place as one of Nigeria’s most engaging voices in online culture conversations.
Known for his dynamic presence and ability to spark meaningful discourse, Dami Adenuga has steadily carved a niche for himself on X, where he commands a large following.
His approach is not merely about trending hashtags—it’s about shaping narratives, challenging perceptions, and spotlighting issues that resonate deeply with young people.
For the premiere, Dami tapped into the expertise of Pamilerin Adegoke, popularly known as “Uncle Pamilerin,” a veteran in Nigeria’s influencer space. Pamilerin’s reputation for bold takes and cultural insight added depth to the conversation, as the duo explored how influence can be channelled beyond popularity into tangible, lasting impact.
The show, which was hosted by Ennyberry, saw listeners tune in from Nigeria, the diaspora, and other parts of the world, with many sharing real-time feedback that the session was both thought-provoking and inspiring. The interactive nature of the discussion allowed the audience to contribute perspectives, creating a sense of communal ownership around the conversation.
Dami’s decision to host Pulse of the Culture on X is a strategic one. In recent years, he has built a reputation for leveraging the platform not just for entertainment, but also for advocacy—addressing topics ranging from creative industry growth to youth empowerment.
“What I’m doing with this platform is bigger than me,” Dami mentioned, adding that “It’s about creating a space where we can discuss what truly drives change in our communities. Influence without impact is empty.”
Pamilerin, speaking from his own experience, emphasised that while influence can open doors, it is impact that leaves a lasting legacy. He praised Dami for starting the series, noting that the Nigerian digital space needs more thought leaders willing to drive conversations that inspire action.
The success of the first episode signals the growing appetite for culturally relevant conversations in Nigeria’s online space.
With Pulse of the Culture now officially on the map, Dami hinted at more high-profile guests and even more engaging topics in the weeks to come.
