A spiritual teacher and Christian mystic, Guru Deseye Subai has stirred a widespread controversy by claiming to have a permanent cure for cancer and other terminal diseases.
He made this assertion on his social media page while teaching about the origin and causes of cancer in humans. Over the years, Guru Deseye Subai has been known for his controversial teachings and claims of possessing special powers which according to him, he has used to produce potent herbal medicines, and as well, healed all sorts of chronic diseases.
According to his posts on social media, Guru Deseye Subai has made several claims of possessing the cure for critical health conditions, some of which are cancer, HIV, diabetes, ulcers, stroke, infertility, and hypertension. On some of his videos posted on his social media pages, it could be seen that Guru Deseye Subai began this mysterious feat right from his early years. On a particular video on his Instagram page, Guru was seen performing healing rituals on some residents of Bodo Kingdom in Ogoni land, whilst still in his prime. From these videos, one could easily say that Guru Deseye Subai has been performing these healing feats for a very long time. In the same video, a prominent traditional ruler in Ogoni Land was seen showering accolades at Guru Deseye Subai, whom he claimed had healed his son of madness some years back. It is, however, not certain that these claims, or the contents of the video are exactly accurate or true.
Citing other posts on his social media pages which centered on his past activities and biography, it was reported that Guru previously resided in the villages of Bodo, Beri, Bori and Wiyakari in Ogoni Land, Rivers State, Nigeria, where numerous residents of the area attested to his healing prowess. In another video, it was seen that some chiefs of the aforementioned communities in Ogoni Land commended Guru for his good works and healing prowess whilst he lived amongst them. Some of the chiefs who spoke well of Guru in the referenced video presented themselves as Chief Nwikpo, Chief Benedict Bronizor, and Chief Vormu Kurubo. These chiefs claimed that they witnessed his healing activities in their land and thanked him for the feats of healing that he mysteriously performed while he lived in their communities.
Besides these claims, assertions by some of his commenters were seen on some of his social media posts where they made confirmation claims stating that Guru had indeed healed them of their chronic diseases – even though these claims and attestations remain unverified. It is also not known if he performs these healing feats for free, or if he charges a fee.
Other commenters can also be seen on his social media pages requesting to know what it would take to meet with Guru in order to get permanent solutions to their physical and spiritual problems, while others have asked to know the cost of his services and herbal medicines – even though most of the comments have remained unattended to and without reply by Guru or his team.
