Renowned hitmaker, Gospel Chinemeremu Obi also known as GospelOnDeBeatz has opened up about how he has continued to stay relevant in the music industry, pointing out that staying true to himself and paying attention to detail has helped him to stay on top of his game.
With an array of music producers dotting the music scene, Gospel who appeared on SIMPLE MAGAZINE June Edition, disclosed that he has had a remarkable journey over the years and could not have asked for a better time to witness the boom currently being experienced in the music industry.
Blessed with the ability to create beat, write songs and play music instruments, Gospel emphasised the importance of staying true to one’s self and delivering quality music, adding that “I have weathered the storm through unwavering dedication to my craft, which earned me the respect and admiration of fans and industry peers.”
Gospel who was responsible for hit songs like Davido’s “All of You; Patoranking’s “No Kissing Baby”, and Praiz & Wizkid song, “Sisi” amongst many others top records stated that all his works earned him great reputation.
He also delved into the significance of intentionality, emphasising how every beat, rhythm, and melody he crafts carries a purposeful message. “In this job, you just have to be meticulous and pay attention to detail. You must have a clear vision to create music that resonates with audiences on a profound level.”
