The ingredients you will need are:
Zobo leaves
Ginger and garlic
Cloves
Pineapple
Artificial flavours/sugar
Water
Method
Firstly, rinse your zobo leaves properly to get rid of whatever dust or dirt. Wash, peel and cut the pineapple into small slices. Also, wash and peel the ginger and garlic.
In a pot, add the already rinsed zobo leaves and let it boil for five minutes. After five minutes, add the pineapple slices (you can add the pineapple peel too if you like), ginger and garlic and add more water. Cook on medium heat for 30 minutes. This will make the zobo leaves and pineapple very soft When it is soft, turn off the heat and set aside.
After the zobo has cooled down, sieve it through a chiffon cloth to make sure there are no particles. You can add any artificial flavour or sugar at this point, then stir properly.
