President, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Reverend (Dr) Samson Ayokunle, has commended the Motailatu Church Cherubim and Seraphim Worldwide (MCCSW) for their commitment to promoting the gospel.

He gave the commendation last Sunday on the occasion of the 53rd anniversary of the church, held at the church’s international headquarters, in Lagos.

He congratulated the Supreme Head/Prelate of the church, Baba Aladura Dr Elder Israel Akinadewo, describing him as a “friend, brother, courageous minister of the gospel with a passion for souls.

He also commended the church for the milestone, acknowledged the commitment of MCCSW to the expansion of the gospel and charity, saying the church would certainly impact more lives.

Welcoming guests, Akinadewo, who said the anniversary was a testimony to the faithfulness of God to the MCCSW, noted that the church had come a long way and would remain committed to “spiritual revival and human capital investment in a selfless and radical manner.”

He assured that MCCSW would not compromise on the traditions and practices of the Aladura movement in line with biblical provisions.

Ayokunle, who was the guest preacher, ministered on The Hidden Treasures, urged Christians to dare to explore all the potentials of God within them for maximum impact.

He said those who belittled the investments and grace of God upon their lives would die full of regrets without significant contributions.

“If you don’t treasure the values of God in your life, you will suffer here and hereafter. Learn to place value on what you have. Delay is dangerous. Take advantage of the opportunities today to become what you should be tomorrow,” he stated
