Buhari’s reelection is my complete joy, Sen. Adamu says

THE senator representing Nasarawa West at the National Assembly, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, has expressed that only reelection of President Mohammadu Buhari would complete his joy even with his sure victory in the next month elections.

Adamu, who was two terms Governor of the state and twice elected to represent the zone at upper chamber, said this when “Renaissance Nigeria”; a conglomeration of different social-cultural groups based in Keffi Local Government Area of the state declared their total unreserved support for his third times bid in Keffi.

Sen Adamu thanked the groups for the support, urging them to throw their weight on President Muhammadu Buhari by voting him and all APC candidates both national and state levels in order to safely guide their PVC.

He added that it was his wife, Mrs Khadijat Adamu who had introduced him to the group, maintaining that only Buhari has the ingredients to salvage this country from the shackle of poverty, unemployment and insecurity, declaring that his anti-corrupt war in the nation is evidence for all to see.

He said: “My happiness and victory will never be completed unless President Muhammadu Buhari wins the 2019 general elections.”

Earlier, the wife of the senator, Mrs Khadijat Adamu, who is canvassing for the re-election of her husband bid, urged the groups and electorates across the state to be mindful of money bag politicians in the state.

Stressing that “Vote for all APC candidates at all levels and make sure you cast your votes correctly, stay and protect it jealously.”

In his speech, the president of the groups, Mr Yakubu Usman expressed their commitment to ensuring that senator Adamu wins the senatorial seat in the forthcoming general election.

He said their support for Adamu is based on his past records in agriculture, education and health, adding that, “Renaissance Nigeria wishes to declare its total and unreserved support for you so that you can continue your good work in the red chamber.”
