The third edition of the Voice of Women (VOW) conference and awards holds today, November 20, 2018.
Tagged VOW 2018, the event billed for Sheraton Hotel, Abuja, will feature Dr (Mrs) Aisha Buhari as the Special Guest of Honour, while the Chairperson is Mrs Folorunso Alakija.
Erelu Bisi Fayemi and Dr Amina Salihu are the lead speakers at the event.
Other speakers at VOW 2018 include Dr Amina Abubakar Bello, wife of Niger State governor, Hajiya Hadiza Abubakar, wife of Bauchi State governor, Mrs Omolewa Ahmed, wife of Kwara State governor, Iyalode Alaba Lawson National President NACCIMA, Mrs Amina Oyagbola, founder Wiscars and Mufuliat Fijabi CEO Nigerian Women Trust Fund.
According to the organisers, the Voice of Women Conference and Awards is a platform to amplify voices of women and demand for good governance through accountability and transparency.
“Individuals and organisations that continue to positively further the causes and development of Women will be recognised and acknowledged with awards immediately after conference,” the organisers said.
