AFTER a tedious search by the rescue and investigation team for the black box of a 737- Max 8 plane that crashed near the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa four minutes after takeoff on Sunday morning, Ethiopian Airlines has announced that the Digital Flight Data Recorder and Cockpit Voice Recorder of ET302 have been recovered.
This is just as the airline has suspended the commercial operations of all Boeing 737 Max 8 immediately after the tragic accident while the cause of the crash is assumed to be found from the black box data.

Equally, Nigeria’s aviation regulatory agency, the NCAA has said it will wait for the outcome of investigations into the unfortunate crash before it can react or take a position on the tragedy.
Speaking to Tribune Online on phone yesterday, the image maker of the authority, Mr Sam Adurogboye, while reacting to the decision by some countries to ground all the Boeing 737- Max 8 aircraft in their fleet following the Sunday crash, said there was no speculation in aviation hence, called for patience for the report of the cause of yesterday crash to come out before any action or position could be taken.
Meanwhile, In the aftermath of Sunday crash, China’s aviation regulator yesterday, Monday grounded nearly 100 Boeing Co 737 MAX 8 aircraft in its fleet.
