BETKING has concluded the fifth edition of its flagship corporate social responsibility initiative, BetKing Cares, delivering healthcare services, maternal support, nutrition and relief materials to communities across Lagos, Abia, Cross River and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The 2026 campaign, themed “Month of Good,” targeted vulnerable families, expectant mothers and underserved communities through health interventions, food distribution and employee-led volunteer activities.

A major focus of this year’s programme was maternal health, with more than 500 pregnant women receiving prenatal care, essential medications, nutritional support, hygiene kits and health education.

The initiative also provided food packs, clothing and other relief materials to vulnerable households, while BetKing employees volunteered their time to support the implementation of the outreach across the host communities.

Speaking on the programme, the Managing Director of KingMakers and Chief Executive Officer of BetKing, Gossy Ukanwoke, said the company remains committed to ensuring that its business success creates meaningful social impact.

“BetKing Cares represents our belief that business success must translate into meaningful social impact. As leaders, we have a responsibility to use our platforms not only to grow industries, but to uplift people. That is the kind of legacy we are building at BetKing; one rooted in access, dignity and sustainable community impact,” Ukanwoke said.

According to the company, BetKing Cares has grown into an employee-driven platform that promotes staff participation in community development while addressing critical social needs, including healthcare, nutrition and welfare.

BetKing said the initiative reflects its commitment to responsible corporate citizenship by supporting programmes that improve access to healthcare and provide relief to underserved communities across Nigeria.

The fifth edition of BetKing Cares is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainable community development through strategic social investment and employee volunteerism.
