The Cultural Centre, Mokola, Ibadan, Oyo State, was the cynosure last week Sunday when automobile giant, Basco Nigeria Limited and FanFaro Oil thrilled thousands of people who trooped to the venue to be part of this year’s edition of Autofest.
The festival, which usually features the display of super fast cars, power bikes and races among other exhibitions lived up to its expectation with people converging on Cultural Centre as early as 11:00 a.m. to have a feel of what looked like an F1 race.
From the old to the young, one could see the excitement on the faces of the people as they cheered the riders who performed what some of them said looked like ‘magic’.
In what looked like the biggest auto show in Ibadan in recent times, the organisers put up the show to unite automotive scenes in Nigeria as part of activities to mark the end of the year.
From super bikes to fast cars to dancers and super models, the crowd cheered to a rare display of stunt performed by experienced drivers who took their game to new heights as they delivered performances with their BMW cars.
