Some unknown gunmen on Saturday stormed some polling units at the ongoing Osun State House of Assembly election and disrupted the exercise.
They reportedly arrived at the Ward 5 unit 10 and 11, Iso-Pako, Alekunwodo area in Osogbo, capital of the state at about 10:30am and chased voters away.
The hoodlums destroyed ballot boxes and tore ballot papers before leaving the area.
Voters, including the aged, scampered to safety immediately the gun wielding men arrived.
