A retired Federal Permanent Secretary and All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart, Chief Mike Okibe Onoja, has condemned the spate of insecurity in the country, particularly, the constant attacks on farmers.
Onoja, who was, last Saturday, conferred with doctorate degree of letters from Benue State University, Makurdi, expressed concern over the spate of clashes between herders and farmers, stating that the manner herders carried out attacks was similar to guerrilla war tactics.
Speaking in Makurdi, the Benue State capital on Saturday, the technocrat called for the concerted efforts of the federal government to address the issue with utmost seriousness.
