The coast is now clear for Senator Abdullahi Adamu, President Muhammadu Buhari favoured for the office of national chairman of the All Progressives Congress.
The position is zoned to North Central.
A letter signed by one of the aspirants, Senator George Akume on behalf of five others titled, dated March 25, 2022 and addressed to Chairman Subcommittee of the APC National Convention, Abubakar Badaru, disclosed that they have all conceeded to Senator Adamu as Consensus candidate.
Other aspirants who signed the letter were former Zamfara state governor, Abdul Aziz Yari, Senator Tanko Al-Makura, Alhaji Saliu Mustapha, Senator Sani Musa and Alhaji Mohammed Etsum
Indication has also emerged that the office of national secretary zoned to South West will now be decided by voting by delegates.
